In the last few years I have made a number of quirky art quilts:- the thing they all have in common is that they carry narratives. Some are telling stories about Berkshire and round about and some map other places where I have lived. These have been exhibited both in Berkshire and nationally - if you come across them they are not "Touch me not" works, but invite audience participation - especially the quilts that contain lift up flaps!

My most recent quilt which was 3 years in the making, comments on past, present and future. The embroidered illustrations of Biblical figures reference the past; the present is represented in the 12 clocks and the quilt's background includes headlines from the Times newspaper. The title of the quilt, "Tick Tock, Pin and Tack, Watch the Clock, We're Coming Back" alludes to the future hope of the return of Christ and his Saints.
